She has been the leader of a legal aide corporation, adjunct professor at two universities, McNeese University, Lake Charles, Louisiana and Texas Wesleyan University, Fort Worth, Texas, motivational speaker, and legal analyst on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, Heaven 97AM and KKDA Soul 73. Bobbie earned her undergraduate degree in Interior Design at Southern University A & M in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and her law degree from Southern University School of Law. She is a frequent sought-after speaker on legal topics for lawyers, students, community groups and other organizations. A highlight in her career was being a featured speaker at the Congressional Black Caucus’ Book Pavilion in Washington, D.C. during the "Parent Call to Action" Literacy NOW! Her book, “The Legal Navigator" is an essential tool for parents and children to use in the school disciplinary process and was an engaging topic at the event.

She holds memberships, in the National Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association, and the L. Clifford Davis Legal Association. She is a former member of Eldon B. Mahon Inns of Court-Fort Worth Chapter and also supports the Tarrant County Bar Foundation. Bobbie is a legal commentator on The Quad Review, with Wilmer Blacknall, and has hosted her own television show, “Legal Peek”. She is a reporter/guest columnist for the “LaVida News- The Black Voice” newspaper. Over the years, she has conducted free 90-minute Legal Peek Live seminars to educate the public on various topics of the law. Eclipse Magazine voted her as one of the dynamic lawyers in the metroplex.
