Recently Crowned National Miss Juneteenth, MADISON ELIZABETH CORZINE in conversation with youngest designer to ever showcase at New York Fashion Week, KHERIS ROGERS.  They will be discussing Kheris Rogers' new book "Shine Bright" and sharing their teen life...

Kheris Rogers is an author and CEO of the widely known apparel brand and social movement “Flexin’ In My Complexion.” Born in 2006 in Los Angeles, California, Rogers started Flexin’ In My Complexion after years of bullying in school because of her dark skin complexion. At just 10 years old, she became the world’s youngest designer to ever showcase at New York Fashion Week. Her clothing line has been worn by celebrities such as Whoopi Goldburg, Lupita N’yongo, Lena Waithe, and Alicia Keys.  Kheris' honors include being named one of Teen Vogue's 21 Under 21 class of 2018, and being chosen to participate in a Lebron James campaign for Nike. Learn more at flexininmycomplexion.com

Madison Corzine is a sixteen-year-old Senior at both Timber Creek High School and Tarrant County Community College. Her dedication to academic excellence and civic engagement has garnered her recognitions such as the Westlake Academy Blacksmith Award for Outstanding Service and Academic Achievement, National Junior Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society (Tarrant County Community College), and the awarding of the Project 76104 Community Service Grant. Madison's passion for community fuels her drive for civic engagement. Her commitment encompasses a variety of initiatives centered around quality of life. In 2020, she co-founded a non-profit organization, The Pragmatic Prodigies. As the CEO, she is charged with ensuring that the mission of inspiring and empowering underrepresented and marginalized youth to excel academically through the participation in advanced curriculum and community service is fulfilled.
