Renea Overstreet is a writer and lawyer living in Fort Worth, Texas. Her first writing project was her autobiography which she started in a Big Chief tablet when she was in first grade. She graduated from Central High School in San Angelo and moved to Austin for college. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, she pursued a career as a writer and graphic designer in non-profit organizations. Working at the National Domestic Violence Hotline and Catholic Charities reminded Renea of her desire to become an attorney. She pursued that dream and graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law). She has two amazing children and practices family and immigration law.
